Strategic Planning

In October 2023, The Board of Education and the Administration launched a new initiative to guide Byron Area Schools through a 3-5 year Strategic Plan. The purpose of this initiative was to help develop new goals and strategies for continuing to offer an excellent education for students while using scarce public education resources in the most effective and efficient way. The strategic planning process was designed to produce approximately 5 goals to be accomplished over a 3 to 5 year period. The plan used data, along with the feedback of staff, students, and community members, to help identify priority goals that would make the district an even better place for students.
Your ideas about the strengths of Byron Area Schools, along with your opinions concerning areas for improvement, barriers to implementation, and ideas for vision, were very important. Therefore, you were encouraged to provide input in a face-to-face listening session or electronically.
