Byron Area Schools has reinstated the Byron Eagle’s Pride Newsletter! This newsletter, which was mailed out to residents years ago, has returned following a decision made at the January Strategic Planning Session. Print communication was identified as an area needing improvement between the school and the community, leading Byron Area Schools to bring this publication back. This first edition was mailed out on Thursday, June 27, 2024, and future editions will follow throughout the next school year.

Last night the Byron Board of Education identified three candidates as finalists for the open Superintendent of Schools position.  Michigan Leadership Institute Regional President Tim Stein, shared that following first round interviews, the Board of Education spent time reviewing interview notes, candidate application materials and public interview feedback forms to arrive at a decision.  Each board member identified two to three candidates to move forward in the process.  The votes were tallied to determine the finalists.

The Byron Area Schools district is seeking applications for the current vacant Board of Education trustee position. The person selected will fill the vacant position through December 31, 2024 when the term

The Byron Area Schools Board of Education identified five candidates to interview for the open Superintendent of Schools position. Michigan Leadership Institute Search Consultant Tim Stein, shared that the Board of Education selected the five candidates after vetting eighteen qualified applicants for the position.
