The mission of Byron Area Schools is to educate ALL students to become
productive members of society.

Byron Area Schools Vision

All Byron Area Schools' students will reach proficiency or advanced
in all core subject areas by 2013-14.

 Byron Area Schools District Goals

  •  To continue to provide an educational program that is designed to provide all students the opportunity to gain skills that will allow them to be successful in their chosen field of endeavor after exiting the Byron Area Schools.

  • To continue to develop and maintain a long-range plan designed to maintain and upgrade the facilities of the Byron Area Schools

  • To continue to maintain a safe and orderly educational climate so that all student and staff can achieve to their highest potential without fear or intimidation.

  • To continue to develop and maintain a fiscal plan which will allow the Byron Area Schools to maintain a sound financial base while striving to continue to offer the most complete educational program possible within those constraints.

  • To continue to provide an educational institution which the parents and community recognize as effective, progressive and stable and a "Point of Pride" for the Byron community.
